| OPEN A JUMP RING

1. Gently grip both sides of the opening with a bent nose plier in one hand and a chain nose plier in the other.
2. Pull one end towards you and push the other end away, do not pull both ends apart.
3. Jump ring should look like the corresponding image above once opened.
CLOSE A JUMP RING

1. Grip both sides of the opened jump ring with a bent nose plier in one hand and a chain nose plier in the other.
2. Pull one end towards you and push the other end away until both ends meet, do not pull both ends apart.
3. Keep shifting both ends until it comes to a complete close, should look like corresponding image above.

FLATTEN A CRIMP TUBE

1. Prepare to use a chain nose plier once the crimp tube is strung on a bead wire.
2. Make sure the crimp tube is securely in its place and squeeze the pliers firmly to flatten it.
3. The flattened crimp tube should have a tight grip on the bead wire.

MAKE A LOOP

1. Once bead(s) are inserted, bend wire 90 degrees. If the loop is made with an eyepin (pictured above), make sure it is facing the same direction as the loop that is on the opposite end.
2. Only about 3/8″ (1cm) of wire is needed to make a loop so cut off any excess length.
3. Grip the tip of the wire with a round nose plier towards the front of the plier head.
4. Start rotating the wire inward to form a loop.
5. Keep rotating the wire until a complete circle is formed.
6. A perfect loop is now complete.

MAKE A WRAPPED LOOP

1. Grip the wire directly above the bead with the tip of a chain nose plier. In order to make a wrapped loop, there must be at least 1.25″ (3.2 cm) of wire visible.
2. Bend the wire to make a 90 degree angle.
3. Position the tips of a round nose plier vertically and grip the wire at its angle.
4. Bring the wire over the top of the plier head.
5. Readjust the position of the round nose plier by sliding the lower tip of the plier into the semi loop that was formed.
6. Wrap the wire down and then around the bottom of the plier tip.
7. Now with a chain nose plier, grip the top of the loop and make sure it is secured tightly.
8. Wrap the excess wire around the center, the loop should be tight and formed right below the position of the plier.
9. Continue creating loops in the same manner, there should be 3 or 4 visible loops around the center.
10. Now that there is no more room left, any additional wire that is sticking out should be cut with a side cutter.
11. A slight tip might still be sticking out somewhat, simply squeeze a chain nose plier around it to push it in.
12. A perfect wrapped loop is now complete.
